We have had our Bosch fridge freezer for at least 10 years. We plan to replace this with another Bosch fridge freezer.The only reason for replacement is to do with the freezer which keeps being left open slightly by family members who visit and go into the freezer looking for ice lollys and ice cream. In doing so they have broken the doors.Also we have rearranged the kitchen and now require a left hand opening fridge. We feel at this time it would be better to replace the F/F with a similar model from Bosch

Sorry, this is not actually a product review but more of a manufacturer review. I hope Amazon has no objection to me using this as a platform to air my views on Bosch:Bosch home appliances generally have a reputation for reliability and quality, but in our case we bought a Bosch fridge/freezer in 2006 which in late-2012 was no longer able to maintain freezer temperature. A Bosch refrigerator engineer then declared it more costly to repair than to replace. That's a pretty bad deal for just six years' worth of use.Be aware that should you ever need to contact Bosch customer service, the service they provide is abysmal. The attitude of the staff towards customers is appalling. The staff and the entire organisation are in dire need of some serious customer skills training. Theirs is not the way to treat people who have spent money on products that should last for many years.So think carefully and consider other brands. Also check after-sales-service reviews as well as product reviews, you never know when you might need them.P.S. As our freezer packed up after six years, any optional five-year warranty would have been a further waste of money.
