Cool in more ways than one!

My old mini fridge recently gave up the ghost and I decided to replace it with a Caldura. Quite a bit more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I have it set to 4 degrees, the coldest setting, and it keeps to this temperature exactly. With the centre shelf removed there is room for 4 bottles of wine + 3 Fantas standing up and 8 cans of Coke layed down on the top shelf + 3 small mineral waters in the door + assorted small food items(butter etc),in the upper door shelf.It is totally silent and looks very sylish in black, with the interior LED lights adding to this effect. A cool unit for sure. Would recommend.

This fridge really is silent, so perfect to have in your bedroom or student accommodation. Also, the electricity consumption is less than some light bulbs, which was handy for me, as it definitely wont trip the fuses in my student room.The first time you turn the fridge on, it will take a couple of hours to cool down to temperature, combined with the silence, I was initially worried it wasn't working. Also it doesn't cool items down as quickly as a conventional fridge, but that's fine if you plan ahead and keep the time that the door is open to a minimum. I'm not entirely sure what the fridge has over the non digital, slightly cheaper version, it claims to digitally regulate the temperature to prevent freezing up. This is certainly not a worry with this fridge, the lowest temperature it can achieve is 4 degrees C. The fridge comes with 2 shelves, though I usually have both of them out, sadly a 2 litre bottle is just too tall to fit in with the top shelf in, a centimetre or 2 higher and the shelf would've been at perfect height.Having said that, the fridge has been working well for the last 7 months and I'm quite happy with it.Note: the instructions for adjusting the temperature at the back in fact tell you to do the opposite of what they mean. If your fridge isn't getting cool, try turning the dial the other way.

We required a silent fridge for a bedroom. This was a better buy than another product we had bought before, ie much cheaper, so was a bit worried as to what it would be like. No worries though, it is excellent. Had some queries about switching the door over from right to left hand hinge in that the door seal did not close adequately, but found the supplier to be very helpful with advice and it worked perfectly well, so thank you.
