I've had this washing machine for around six weeks and can't really find any fault with it. Having purchased Bosch products previously and been very happy with them, it made sense to buy this washing machine even though it's not the cheapest on the market. In my experience, Bosch is a far superior brand to Hotpoint (I have had many problems with Hotpoint washing machines being very short-lived and prone to faults in recent years). Appearance isn't everything by any means, but some washing machines look cheap and brittle on the front, but this one has a very good solid look to it. Installation was quick and easy.This Bosch washing machine has lots of different types of washing cycle that you can use, along with several different temperatures. The machine is mostly quiet, although it does have its moments during certain points of certain cycles. It also has a timer to let you know how long is left to go before the wash is done, and it beeps when it is done. It appears that the beeping continues at regular intervals when the wash is finished until you stop it, which can be a bit annoying! As with most washing machines, it is worth reading through the manual at least once so you know exactly what you're doing when you're setting it up. The manual doesn't really explain all of the washing programs in detail, but I'm sure that most people have experience of using washing machines before. I think the shortest setting is as little as 15 minutes if you just want to do a fast wash, with lots of longer cycles including some eco ones. There is also the option to add extra items half way through a wash if you like. The buttons are quite sensitive, which means on more than one occasion I've accidentally completely changed the settings mid-wash just by brushing against the machine, but this isn't a problem of course. The drum is large enough to fit a lot of clothes in it, and I've also managed to wash a double duvet without any problems. Everything that I have washed has turned out as it should have.All in all, a very good washing machine that I would recommend highly.

I chose this washing machine having read the excellent Which report. I have used most of the programs and am completely satisfied with the results. It is possible to chose water temperature, spin speeds and adjust the length of wash to suit yourself on most programs. I would recommend to a friend.

I would strongly recommend this machine. It's great value for money. Its variety of modes caters for all conceivable types of garments, it uses less water and you hardly notice it's on. It also gets the clothes clean! Fancy that!!
