WHITEKNIGHT WK 28007 T GRAVITY SPIN DRYER

I have been using this appliance now for about three weeks. It extracts more water from the washing, faster, than my former machine did and it is easier to drain away the very small amount of water left in the drum after the spin. On one occasion at the start of the spin the dryer 'jumped', since when I have avoided the problem by paying closer attention the manufacturer's instruction to load the machine evenly, firm the laundry articles down and cover the load with a cloth. I am very pleased with this appliance.

It is smart looking and movable through doors with care.As others have mentioned it is a little fussy about being loaded evenly because the rotating drum is very close to the stationary part. It does not "correct" itself as easily as some other modelsso a little more care is needed when loading. The other thing is the catch which holds the lid down when in action.Itis a very strong spring so there is no vibrating when going at speed. Watch your fingers for the first few times you use the machine. Hold the catch and draw it across at YOUR OWN speed otherwise it will fly ito position and give you a nasty bang on the fingers.It does a very good job and it is easy to clean and to drain otu the residue water.

Good performance but a few design concerns

Despite the Crosswell/White Knight tag it appears to be a re-badged Thomas from Germany.My first complaint would be the design of the lid catch - it's very easy to nip your fingers in it. You also have to be very careful loading the drum or will bang loudly against the side. The price is a bit high for a very basic machine, but it does a good job of drying the clothes.
