Top quality washing machine

Unfortunately did not buy this washing machine from Amazon as carrier HDNL had trouble delivering but that is another story and this is a review on the washing machine not HDNL. Had this machine for a couple of months now and really impressed by its quality. It is eay to operate and has a nice quiet spin cycle; no it is not whisper quiet but it is good. I usually wash on cotton program at 30c and that takes 1hr 20mins, which I think is very reasonable. I initially bought this machine with the medic rinse in mind but to be honest I find it rinses well enough wihout using it. The delay function is useful to load the machine at night and have the washing ready for me in the morning. If I have a dislike, it is that if using the quick wash programs then it will only spin at 800rpm, but I think that is normal for all brands of washing machines. Overall I would definitely recommend

Really Bad Washing Machine

This is a poor quality machine that does not properly rinse during most washing cycles. You will have to run an additional cycle without washing powder to rinse the soap out. It is also difficult to balance and it shakes violently during the spin cycles.Also had delivery issues with the machine and Amazon UK customer service are really poorly trained. Got the replacement machine from John Lewis without problems.

Everyone has made a poor purchase in their life. We came to realise that purchasing our Siamese cat set the benchmark for us. The cat is noisy, sits in the corner and moves when it wants. This LG washer is much the same and is now the item that sets the standard for misjudged purchases. It was installed in the kitchen in the place left by our long serving washer that allegedly came from another planet. We soon found that it was impossible to have anything on the benches, as pans, dishes etc. were thrown onto the floor. We purchased the recommended feet cushions, the washer treated these like new dancing shoes and waltzed across the floor. The noise from the machine is incredible and can only be described as a pneumatic drill being operated on a busy military runway. We could not go out and leave the washer as the cycle never finished. The washer moved out of its den, across the floor pulling out the three pin plug. We became convinced that the wooden floor of our bungalow was to blame. We installed drains and water into our garage. I moved the washer onto into the garage, the house is now quiet and we can leave a cup on the bench. The washer is now installed onto a solid concrete floor. It has now added punk pogo dancing to its repertoire and often bounces across the floor and succeeded in pulling the water pipe from the wall.The LG after sales service has been without doubt the worst I have experienced in recent times. They promise to return calls and never do. They took a week to authorise the attendance of an engineer. The engineer arrived, said that he needed new feet and left promising to return the following week. Three weeks later the engineer returned, he installed two new optional foot cushions and raised the front of washer so that it sloped backwards. He told my wife that this was how the machine should have been installed initially. This is completely at odds with the manufacturers installation instructions. The washer continued to dance across the floor. LG were contacted and the attendance of an engineer requested. We have waited for two weeks and still have not had a response.We do not know whether to throw our washer that is a little over a year old into a skip or enter it into strictly come dancing anything Anne WIDECOMBE can do our LG washer can surpass.Do not buy this item you will regret it.
