Disappointing

I recently moved into a two year old house with a fully fitted kitchen. The built in dishwasher was this Baumatic and, as it was newer than my old and built in, I sold my Bosch. After four months, I can say that, in spite of every effort to give it a chance, it does not clean the dishes unless they are thoroughly rinsed beforehand and sometimes they still need washing afterwards. I have cleaned it repeatedly in an effort to get it to work efficiently, but this has not improved it at all. I also think the capacity is also poor. The interior layout does not lend itself to any degree of flexibility which is annoying in a busy household. We are so dissatisfied that we are going to bite the bullet and replace it with a Bosch.I must make it clear that the Baumatic was in situ when we arrived and was not purchased through Amazon.

I also agree with the last review i did not buy my machine from amazon and have had exactly the same issues with my baumatic dishwasher, not cleaning my dishes and constantly trying to clean filters descailing ect... untill just under three years old it died on me and would cost more to fix than to buy a new machine all together

I purchased this model in haste Christmas 2 years ago. The first one leaked copious amounts of water from delivery so I had it replaced. The second one has an appalling performance. I asked for an engineer to come and check it - which they did - he assured me it was working satisfactorily and to ensure we rinsed before loading. This I do - I also clean the filter every other day. However no matter which programme I have tried the dishwasher cannot even manage teacups or glasses.There are always bits of food and stains left behind. I sometimes have put things through three times and then ended up hand washing.I would not go near a baumatic applicance again if you paid me. Perhaps we dissatisfied customers should start a pressure group - to obtain free servicing or engineer check?!!
